Fireflies + Four/Four: Customer Evidence from Your Fireflies Meetings

Turn Fireflies meetings into product and engineering evidence with Four/Four

The Four/Four Fireflies integration imports your Fireflies meeting transcripts into Four/Four. Four/Four then extracts pains, needs and feature requests from every meeting, groups them into themes alongside support tickets, chats, emails and CRM records, and gives product, CS, engineering and AI assistants the evidence behind each theme. Fireflies stays in place as your notetaker.

What Fireflies does well, and where teams hit limits

Fireflies is one of the most widely used AI notetakers. It joins Zoom, Google Meet and Teams calls, transcribes in more than 100 languages, and writes summaries and action items for every meeting. A free plan and paid seats from $10 a month make it easy to roll out. Its MCP server is generous too, giving Claude and ChatGPT full transcripts with speakers and timestamps.

The limits appear when a team wants to know what customers are saying across hundreds of meetings, not what was said in one. Fireflies is organised around meetings and the people in them. Its analytics measure talk time, questions and sentiment, and topic trackers count keywords you choose in advance. It doesn't take in support tickets or chat, so meeting evidence and ticket evidence live in separate tools. And nothing in Fireflies connects what customers asked for to the product backlog or to the code that ships.

Some teams ask whether they could skip this and point Claude at every Fireflies transcript through Fireflies' MCP. For a handful of meetings, that works well. Across hundreds of meetings, the token cost and the limits catch up fast.

What Four/Four adds to Fireflies

Themes across every Fireflies meeting, ticket and chat

Four/Four shows what customers ask for across all your conversations, without you deciding the keywords first. Every imported Fireflies meeting is broken into structured insights (jobs, pains, needs, proposed solutions and feature requests). Topic sets group those insights with evidence from Zendesk, Intercom, ServiceNow, Gong and other sources, so one request raised in a meeting and in a ticket shows up as one theme.

Evidence for product decisions

Four/Four puts the customer quotes behind each idea in front of product managers. Issues built from insights flow into Jira, Productboard, Notion, etc., with links back to the exact moment in the Fireflies meeting where a customer raised them.

Structured customer evidence for Claude and ChatGPT

Four/Four's MCP server gives AI assistants the analysis on top of the transcripts. Fireflies' own MCP returns meetings, transcripts and summaries one meeting at a time. Four/Four's MCP returns extracted insights, topics with counts, CRM accounts and opportunities, product issues and transcripts on request, across every source, each linked to its origin. Assistants can also label conversations and start new topic analyses.

Answers across every customer without paying to re-read every meeting

Reading raw transcripts is the most expensive way to get Claude to answer a question across your customers. In a controlled test on Four/Four's own data, we asked Claude "What are the top pains for people with a Product persona?" two ways. Reading all 326 matching transcripts took about 2.86 million tokens. Reading Four/Four's 1,227 extracted pain insights from the same conversations took about 194,000, 14.8 times fewer. Both routes put the same four pains at the top.

On Claude Opus 5.5 at $4 per million input tokens, that is about $11.44 for one question from transcripts and $0.78 from insights. Nobody stops at one question. A follow-up such as "just enterprise accounts" means re-reading around 100 full calls, while Four/Four runs a filter. A question plus three follow-ups costs about $22 from transcripts against $1.37 from insights. At 1,000 sessions a month, a few agents doing research for a mid-sized team, the difference is about $248,000 a year.

Scale breaks the transcript route before cost does. The full set of transcripts was nearly three times larger than a 1 million token context window, so a chat client either fails or quietly drops most of the data and answers from whatever fits. Fireflies' MCP also fetches transcripts one meeting at a time, and its Free and Pro plans allow 50 MCP requests a day, far short of the hundreds a question like this needs.

Four/Four does the reading once, when a meeting is imported. Each insight carries its account, persona, type and timestamp, and links to the exact moment in the Fireflies meeting. The model reasons over what customers said rather than small talk and screen-share chatter, and opens a transcript only when a quote needs checking. Read the full test and method.

Checking shipped code against customer need

Four/Four closes the loop from voice of customer to code. Because the evidence sits beside the issue, engineers can review what they build against what customers said in Fireflies meetings, not only against the ticket.

CRM context on every insight

Four/Four links insights to CRM accounts, contacts and opportunities from Salesforce, HubSpot or Dynamics 365. You can filter themes by industry, company size, deal stage or opportunity value, and see which requests come from accounts that matter most.

How it works

Connecting Fireflies takes a few minutes.

  1. Start a Four/Four trial or sign in. About 2 minutes.
  2. Open Connections and choose Fireflies. About 1 minute.
  3. Authorise Four/Four with your Fireflies account. About 2 minutes.
  4. Review your first insights and topics once the import has processed.
  5. Optional, connect Claude or ChatGPT to Four/Four's MCP server to query Fireflies evidence from your AI assistant.

Use cases by team

Team The question they ask What Four/Four gives them from Fireflies meetings
Product "Which feature requests come up most, and from which customers?" Feature requests and pains grouped into topics, with counts by segment and links to the meetings, sent to Jira or Productboard
Customer success "Which accounts are raising churn risks, and why?" Complaints and unmet needs per account, combined with support tickets and chats, tracked over time in Monitor dashboards
Engineering "Does what we're building match what customers asked for?" The customer evidence behind each issue, so code can be reviewed against the need, not only the ticket
Marketing "What words do buyers use for their problem?" Real customer language and objections for messaging, content and outbound personalisation
Leadership "What are customers telling us this quarter?" Trends across every conversation source, plus an AI analyst that answers questions with linked evidence

Example output

A Four/Four topic called "Combine feedback from meetings and tickets" built from Fireflies meetings and Intercom conversations over the last 90 days. It shows the number of accounts raising it, the share from mid-market customers, the average value score, three linked customer quotes, and the matching Jira issue. This is a theme Four/Four sees in its own sales calls, where teams describe feedback split across Intercom, Fireflies and spreadsheets.

Security and data handling

Four/Four reads only the meetings the connected Fireflies account can access. Inside Four/Four, access is controlled by role-gated permissions and SSO, and PII and PCI can be redacted. See the Four/Four trust centre for compliance details.

FAQ

Do I need to replace Fireflies to use Four/Four?

No. Four/Four works on top of Fireflies. Your team keeps recording, transcribing and sharing meeting notes in Fireflies, while Four/Four imports the transcripts and turns them into themes and evidence for product, CS, engineering and marketing. Nothing changes in your Fireflies workspace.

Does the integration work with past Fireflies meetings?

Yes. Four/Four can analyse past Fireflies meetings as well as new ones, so you can see long-term patterns from the first day.

Fireflies already has an MCP server. Why use Four/Four's?

Fireflies' MCP server is good for questions about specific meetings, returning transcripts, summaries and soundbites. Four/Four's MCP server answers questions across all your customers and sources, returning structured insights, topic counts, CRM records and product issues, each linked to the source. Many teams connect both.

Can't I just connect Claude to Fireflies and ask about all my customers?

You can try, but it gets slow and expensive at scale. In Four/Four's own test, answering one question from 326 transcripts took 14.8 times more tokens than answering it from Four/Four insights, and both gave the same answer. Hundreds of transcripts also overflow the model's context window, so most clients drop data without telling you. Four/Four extracts the evidence once, so each question only reads what's relevant.

Can I combine Fireflies meetings with support tickets?

Yes. Four/Four connects to Zendesk, Intercom, ServiceNow, Pylon, Genesys Cloud and NiCE CXone alongside Fireflies. Insights from every source share one set of topics, so a request raised on a call and in a ticket shows as one theme.

Can I use Fireflies and Gong together in Four/Four?

Yes. Many companies use Gong for sales calls and Fireflies for other teams' meetings. Four/Four imports both, so every customer conversation feeds the same themes.

How much does it cost?

The Fireflies integration is part of Four/Four's plan, which charges for content processed rather than seats. You don't need extra Fireflies seats for the teams who use the evidence in Four/Four.
